To get to the Workstation, where the wedding reception actually is, leave Sheffield station by its main front entrance and walk forwards, veering left along the magnificent water feature to the crossing. On the other side of the road, you will be able to see the Showroom to your left, and a big black & white timber-framed pub slightly to your right. Cross the road. Walk past the stairs to the Showroom cinema and left up the little road on which the Showroom is. After the Showroom café bar – which you will be able to see through the windows – is the Workstation, which is our bit. It will hopefully be covered with maps and ivy and candles and old books, and there should be a weird old Volkswagen/photobooth thing in the window – we’ll try and make it as obvious as possible!

If you are coming by car, the closest car park is the station car park, which is (once again) directly opposite the venue. It’s 24/7, but it’s also quite expensive (albeit not by London standards). http://www.q-park.co.uk/parking/sheffield/q-park-sheffield-station. The next closest is Charles Street, up the hill closer to the centre of town http://www.q-park.co.uk/parking/sheffield/q-park-charles-street, which is marginally cheaper. (We’ll see if we can wangle any cheap parking vouchers, but this isn’t sorted yet.)
